Game Regulations
At Seattle Roleplay, we are committed to maintaining a respectful and enjoyable atmosphere for all our members. To ensure everyone's experience is exceptional, we kindly request that all members adhere to the guidelines.
(1.0) Respect
Within our server, all people, no matter their origin or belief, are welcome. It is mandatory to show respect for others to help create an inclusive environment for all.
(1.1) Realism
Please avoid reckless driving. If your vehicle exceeds 25 MPH, you must roleplay crashes.
New life rule: after you have died, you must not remember your past life, which means no revenge roleplay if you have died.
When staff or emergency vehicles are passing by with their lights on, you must yield to the side of the road.
You must not wear an unrealistic avatar. Your avatar must remain realistic; no floating head, having just one leg, etc. Everything on your avatar must be realistic.
If EMS is available, you must not use your respawn button. Instead, click the 'Call EMS' button. If they don't respond within 2-3 minutes, then you can respawn.
You must not slant or glitch your vehicle in any way here. It must be a realistic, non-glitchy vehicle you are using.
You must stay below 60 miles per hour in the city, and you can go around 100 mph on the highway.
You must also be open to roleplay. No Intention to Roleplay (NITRP) is not allowed; you must not troll or fail to take roleplay seriously.
You must roleplay being shot, tased, run over, etc. If an officer tases you, you cannot get back up and start fleeing; you must roleplay.
You may not jump around objects or anything to avoid from getting hit by a weapon.
(1.2) Roleplays
You must not roleplay as your department; you must use the departments provided already. For example, no FBI, Homeland Security, etc.
You must use our custom uniforms and liveries; you aren't allowed to use default liveries or uniforms. They must be provided by us.
Do not interrupt or get involved with scenes you weren't involved in from the start. For example, if your friend is getting pulled over and you aren't there, you cannot interfere with that roleplay scene.
You cannot run from Law Enforcement unless you have a valid reason. Once in a traffic stop, you cannot pull a weapon and shoot at the officer without a valid reason, such as being a wanted criminal.
Homeless Roleplays are allowed, but there are some limits. You may NOT place tents on public roads or spots within a parking lot/garage. Tents are allowed to be placed on the grass or near abandoned buildings as well as within the suburbs and farm areas. The median across from spawn, as well as near buildings which are actual stores, are NOT places for tents as well, this includes safe zones.
(1.3) Arrests
You must not auto-jail a player; you must transport them to the county jail.
You cannot randomly arrest people without a valid reason, and you can't just walk up to someone to see if they are wanted and cuff them. It must be a proper scene.
(1.4) VDM and RDM
You must not shoot or kill someone without a valid reason. You must have a valid reason to do so.
You must not purposely ram vehicles or crash into them without a valid reason. You must have a valid reason to do so.
(1.5) Crime/Group
Mafias can only consist of up to 4 people. Any more than 4 is considered gang roleplay, which we don't allow.
Two or more people must rob the jewelry store or bank with you. You cannot rob it by yourself.
The crime-free areas include the Police department, Sheriff's Office, both fire departments, an
d both civilian spawns. This is a safezone. DUI and drug roleplay are allowed. However, you must roleplay this at your own risk, and you must not specify a drug.
(1.6) Permissions
You must have permission from a staff member to take a player hostage or engage in kidnapping.
(1.7) Staff Members
If a staff member teleports to you, you must stop the roleplay scene until the moderator says you can continue.
Leaving to avoid punishment is not allowed. For example, if you RDMed in front of a staff member and the staff member goes to cuff you, and you leave the game, that's considered LTAP.
If you disagree with a staff action, you are always free to appeal your moderation. If you want to report a staff member, feel free to make a ticket.
Moderators or staff team members may enforce rules not explicitly listed here if deemed necessary or if they are considered basic knowledge that should be stated. Punishments may vary at the moderators' discretion.
(1.8) EMS Requests
Iff you were to die, you must wait at least 5 minutes for EMS to arrive. If there are no EMS you must wait for the roleplay to conclude before respawning. You must properly roleplay your injuries and death. Unless you are directly given a lethal injury you must roleplay being alive, although injured.
(1.9) Popped Vehicle
You are not permitted to drive a vehicle that has one or more tires popped, you must realistically call a dot member to help repair your vehicle. If your vehicle is on fire or smoking you must call the fire department, as well call in a DOT member.
(2.0) Firearms
You must be near your vehicle to pull out a large firearm as it is unrealistic to have it concealed on your player. This does not apply to tactical teams, which includes swat. This does not apply to pistols (which is the only thing you will be allowed to carry on you.)
(2.1) Engaging in Mass Crime
• Continuously committing crimes in-game can diminish the RP experience. It's important to take a break and give yourself a cooldown before committing any new crimes.
(2.2) Evading Law Enforcement
• Only evade law enforcement if you have a legitimate reason, such as being wanted for something specific.
(2.3) Civilian Jobs
• When role-playing a civilian job, always abide by the law and avoid committing any crimes.
(2.3) Roadblock
• If you encounter a roadblock set up by law enforcement or cones, find a legal route around it.
(2.4) RVs Parking & Pursuit
• Refrain from parking RVs outside of High Rock Park, it is also prohibited to start a pursuit with an RV attached to your vehicle.
(2.5) Vehicle Parking
• Always ensure your vehicle is parked correctly. Avoid leaving it in the middle of the road, particularly during a mod call.
